    Sharing the adventure

2007 and 2008 were officially marked as the International Polar Years. Dutch explorers Eric Schlameisen, Philip de Roo and Joep Bovens took this opportunity to do a double crossing of the Greenland icecap under the name 'Notice Expedition' during these two years. This expedition solely relied on climate-neutral energy sources such as sun, wind and biofuel. The first crossing from East to West took place in 2007 and covered 600km. The second crossing, South to North, covered an incredible 2500km.

Liquid Earth developed and produced an online video series through which the expedition team shared their adventure. Using online video servicesenabled partners, sponsors and regular viewers to share the content via their own site, thus reaching a larger audience. Viewers can also subscribe to the series as a podcast and get each new episode delivered to their computer or iPod automatically.

Below is the trailer for the series. You can watch the other episodes here.
