HDtravel is a website that presents visual stories revolving around interesting people, places and experiences. It's a proof-of-concept for a visual storytelling interface I developed, and that focusses on presenting the content in a visually beautiful and emotionally engaging way. The interface itself stays out of the way as much as possible. The stories have built-in social media sharing functionality and can also be viewed on iPads and other mobile devices.
The applications of this interface are broader than just travel stories. It can be used whenever visual content needs to be presented in an engaging way. More background information about ideas behind the interface in this blog post.
